Here is a video of Derek laughing while sitting in his bouncy chair. If you are wondering what Katie is saying, she is saying "where's your poo poo pass?".... which is what we call his pacifier; don't ask why, she's crazy???

Ever since the Reading Eagle newspaper published an article about our Christmas light display, we've had a steady flow of cars every night. It is amazing how many people clap, yell "Thank you" from their cars or even knock on our door to ask us questions. Yesterday we received a Christmas card and a letter from people who enjoyed our lights so much that they wanted to show their appreciation for our work.

Katie bought some candy canes and our nephews have been handing them out to the people who park and watch the lights. We have to buy more today because we are hoping to have a big crowd this weekend. Be sure to tell everyone that you know to come out and see our display!

We Just had an earthquake

A few minutes ago (2:08 pm to be precise) everyone here at my office felt a brief shake and rumble and we thought someone dropped something. The news is now reporting that it was a small earthquake. Different news stations are saying 3.7 on the Richter Scale. Too bad it didn't knock out the power so I could go home! Here is an image from MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY SEISMOGRAPH

Last night Channel 69 News came to our house to interview us about our Christmas lights. Katie and I were very happy with the report. The only thing we would have changed is where I said how much time it took to create and the people who helped. My brother Dan was the biggest help. He spent countless hours at my house doing the most tedious jobs. My Brother Mark and my Brother In Law Danny also were a great help when it came to the setup; climbing ladder's and attaching countless zip ties to secure the lights. Dan's girlfriend Vanessa took pictures for my website and my nephews Colin, Jordan and Devon helped too by helping to clean up and holding tools. And a super big thanks goes out to my wife for letting me do all of this!!! I love you Kate!
