Molly Kate Macrina
 Thursday, May 01, 2008 9:21 PM
Today Katie and I met the newest member of our family. Katie delivered our daughter Molly Kate Macrina by c-section at 3:24pm. Molly is healthy and weighs in at 8lbs even. Katie is doing well but a little tired. Derek is going to wait a day or two to meet his little sis because he has a cold. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Planning for Christmas has begun
 Friday, August 24, 2007 8:00 AM

Over the last month or two I've been diligently working on my 2007 Christmas light display. This year I have a have a helper who loves it almost as much as I do. Katie and I are still figuring things out but we are hoping to add some more lights to our display. We are also going to collect donations for some charities which we have yet to choose. I've also registered ChristmasOnSunset.com which I hope to work on soon.

My Blog is not dead
 Wednesday, August 08, 2007 3:23 PM
I know I haven't blogged in ages but my blog is still alive, it's just under heavy construction. My photo section is pretty much done but alot of the other features are not complete. I've been busy with different projects, taking vacation and spending time with the family. I've posted a bunch of pictures in the last couple of days so check them out. Hopefully I can blog a little more in the next few weeks.

Just for fun
 Friday, March 23, 2007 11:49 AM

I really never send or forward chain emails that I get but I found this one somewhat amusing. It gave me a chuckle so I thought I would post it for the fun of it. May favorites are 6, 12, 16, 20, 23 and my favorite is 24

1. A day without sunshine is like night.

2. On the other hand, you have different fingers.

3. 42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

4. 99 percent of lawyers give the rest a bad name.

5. Remember, half the people you know are below average.

6. He who laughs last thinks slowest.

7. Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm.

8. The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese in the trap.

9. Support bacteria. They're the only culture some people have.

10. A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.

11. Change is inevitable, except from vending machines.

12. If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

13. How many of you believe in psycho-kinesis? Raise my hand.

14. OK, so what's the speed of dark?

15. When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

16. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.

17. How much deeper would the ocean be without sponges?

18. Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines

19. What happens if you get scared half to death, twice?

20. Why do psychics have to ask you for your name?

21. Inside every older person is a younger person wondering, "What the heck happened?"

22. Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we would all fall off.

23. Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

24. Life isn't like a box of chocolates. It's more like a jar of jalapenos. What you do today might burn your ass tomorrow.

Derek Laughing
 Monday, January 15, 2007 12:38 AM
Here is a video of Derek laughing while sitting in his bouncy chair. If you are wondering what Katie is saying, she is saying "where's your poo poo pass?".... which is what we call his pacifier; don't ask why, she's crazy???

Keep'em coming
 Thursday, December 21, 2006 10:41 AM

Ever since the Reading Eagle newspaper published an article about our Christmas light display, we've had a steady flow of cars every night. It is amazing how many people clap, yell "Thank you" from their cars or even knock on our door to ask us questions. Yesterday we received a Christmas card and a letter from people who enjoyed our lights so much that they wanted to show their appreciation for our work.

Katie bought some candy canes and our nephews have been handing them out to the people who park and watch the lights. We have to buy more today because we are hoping to have a big crowd this weekend. Be sure to tell everyone that you know to come out and see our display!

In today's Reading Eagle paper there is a great article about the Christmas light display that I put up. It has a color photo of myself and Katie and Derek. Here is a scanned copy of it http://photos.timmacrina.com/special/xmas_lights_06_newspaper.pdf
